5/10/2012 - We will be away from May 17th-30th. You can email and we will respond if able, otherwise no tuning will be provided until the 30th. You can still place an order through the online store, but it will not be shipped until the 30th. Also, stay tuned for a major announcement in early June.

3/22/2012 - If you are paying by PayPal, please note that shipping charges may be dropped on checkout due to a change in paypal coding. We are working to fix this, but until then you can use a credit card or we will issue an invoice for the correct shipping charge to the paypal account that was used. If you are planning on any major purchases such as superchargers or turbos, please contact us ahead of time for a correct shipping estimate/availability.

3/12/2012 - TUNING UPDATE! In a small handful of vehicles (mainly 2008) there appears to be a higher incidence of Knock Retard while cruising and at low loads. We have finally succeeded in correcting this behavoir without sacrificing MPG or performance. If we have seen your logs and observed this behavoir then you were likely alraedy contacted by us. If not, then drop us an email or use the contact form. It would look like a ramping up/down during cruise with values going up above 1-2 degrees (some as high as 5). We will do this update free of charge, however the templates will only be updated on an as needed basis due to the work involved. SERVICE UPDATE: AREA 1320 is in the process of moving. Currently there is not yet a definite date of re-opening so until then we will not be taking any additional jobs installing products. We will update the front page once that changes. And finally....here at Moto-East we tune one car and one car only--the 2006+ Mazda MX-5. We don't advertise because we know our tuning is the best there is, NA or FI, and we are committed to making better as you can see above. How do we know this? Because we have seen the others' tunes and they are years behind. Other vendors competing for your business do so with only margins in mind, and as a result fail to deliver results (notice the lack of third party dyno charts). However, to keep our prices down we need your help. Let people know who tuned your car! Though we use Delta Force hardware, all of our tuning is independent, and is specific to your car only! For this reason those have tried using our tunes have failed to replicate our results--and why we continue to release the user end DIY software (Commando) despite the risk of intellectual property theft. This has the effect of making a better tuned car which is our goal! Otherwise, enjoy the early spring (here in the northeast)!

8/25/2011 - In order to better focus our efforts on the tuning side we are partnering with Area 1320 to deliver installation services. Also to provide the best service at a reasonable price, superchargers and turbo kits must be bought from us to avoid issues with parts, otherwise installation charges will be by the hour instead of a flat rate.

11/16/2010 - We have more fuel injectors for the MX-5! Now available in a 550cc variant (and we can custom make bigger ones for nearly the same price!) Each one is brand new, and is the same OEM brand and quality that you will find on OEM vehicles! With a cruise profile similar to stock yet incredibly powerful and consistent flow under boost these are a perfect compliment to your turbo or supercharger system. Not only are they the best out there, but we also carry them at the lowest price you will find anywhere!

9/27/2010 - We have added the fender rolling tool to our inventory. You can now rent it here for a modest fee.

9/15/2010 - Congradulations to Eric on a great performance at Nationals! While competition was stiff with Ken Motonishi taking 1st, the STR class is proving to be quite an impressive one. With over 50 entrants and some quick times, it is impressively fast. We are also rolling out a new logo as our brick and mortar shop opens up. While the online store will retain the current look and feel, expect to see the following on the faster MX-5's out there!

8/30/2010 - We are proud to be sponsoring the 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata of Simmons Racing competing in the SCCA STR class. See it at the Nationals in Nebraska this upcoming weekend! It will be driven by Eric Simmons and Sal DiPompo, both very successful drivers locally and nationally. Our tuning will make sure that they have an edge over the competition.

8/30/2010 - We have added improved templates and Moto-East Enhanced version of the popular Delta Force software! That means if you purchased a Delta Force Commando from someone else and have the old version of the templates, the ones we developed in house are available from our store for a special upgrade price and you do not have to buy a whole new setup. 6/4/2010 - After working for quite some time we have finally cracked the rev-limit on the 2006+ Mazda MX-5 Miata in collaboartion with Delta Force Tuning. We will provide updated tunes on a limited basis to current Delta Force owners who desire a tune with a higher rev-limit. You can find this under "Moto-East Custom Tuning" in our online store. If you have the full package (with template, the one where you edit yourself,) you can contact us via email or phone, and we can setup to update your tune. Unfortunately however this will NOT be user changeable just yet due to the complexity of the coding. Eventually this will be added to the templates free of charge to existing customers. To thank those who have stuck with the Sniper/Delta Force hardware through this time, we will also update tunes for Delta Force/Sniper interface owners for the same low price as our customers. Why not a free update? Currently this is a very time intensive process and requires significant time on our end. Please allow from a few hours to a few days depending on ECU model. All tunes are delivered electronically.
